The best place to eat in Deruta. Casual with outside seating. No rush, no fuss, just great non expensive food and drinks. It's a walk up the hill but totally worth it. Enjoy

Happened upon this excellent restaurant on our way home from Italy. The food was so delicious. The service so helpful and friendly. After we finished eating our fabulous lunch, the owner (maybe?) came over and poured us some limoncello as we were about to leave. How thoughtful, kind and delicious!

We came to Deruta to see the ceramics but spotted this restaurant. Wow! Everything was so tasty. Had the aubergine for starters but the pasta with turnip tops and sausage was superb! We are staying in Umbria for a few weeks so will absolutely return to try some of the other fascinatingly described offerings.

Six of us ate lunch here. Fabulous and delicious pasta eaten by us all. The tartufa and pepper pasta was magnificent as was the wild boar gnocchi. Can recommend highly.

Altogether was a very nice and welcoming atmosphere adapt to everyone, pet are welcomed. The restaurant is located in a quite aerea, near a big park, and also in the centre of Deruta, a hill village, famous for its ceramics, in the province of Perugia, that its a member of: Borghi più belli d’Italia. Luciano the owner of restaurant is a smiling and friendly person and professional. He proposed us different kind of typical Umbria antipasti, pasta and Wine too. A lot of for vegetarian. Staff very professional and friendly. Because I am Italian, it’s very difficult that I rated 5 stars, because I have very hight expectations and I think restaurants can be improve their cooking more and more. Thanks Luciano and everyone.
